Upright Acoustic Bass $299
This library is over 500 Megs in size, dedicated to this
one fine classic Italian instrument. Every note of every string was sampled in stereo at 4
velocities with no loops. Features 'finger damped' staccato release resonance samples that
will play on the note up, body resonance volume controlled by the Mod Wheel. There are
fast and slow slides up and down all four strings, up and down from each note. Also
included are some riffs, special effects, harmonics and noises.
Mapped by position. There are 12 fingering positions for
the bass. Each position is accessible with a patch change and the notes are mapped
chromatically the way a bassist would perform from that particular position, using the
appropriate strings.
The recording was made in March 1998 by multiple Grammy
engineer, Larry Seyer recording bassist Spencer Starnes.
